1. Humility.

If you know what your strengths and weaknesses are then you are better equipped to build the right team. When the success of the event or task is about glorifying Him then it doesn’t matter who gets the credit. When the focus is all about Him then ego doesn’t get in the way. Especially in a fast paced environment, you need people around you to support you and the goal. The reality is with true experience comes humility.

2. It’s All About The Team.

When I build a team I want someone who is willing to teach what they know and learn what I know. Cross training is one of the most important qualities of a team.
Qualities I look for in a team members:

• Transparency – Someone who communicates openly
• Accountability – Someone who owns their mistakes,
• Confidence – Someone who knows their strengths and can lead.
• Autonomy – Someone with a balance of structure and intuition.No matter the mission or the organization these are traits that will build a solid dream team.
