2.   Using your influence

It’s what you do in a situation, not your title, that influences those around you. When you look around and you’re the one everyone is coming to, you become the most influential person in the room.  Always remember, leadership is a long distance race. It’s going to take strength, patience, endurance and perseverance.

It can be tricky but leading while under submission can be done. There are 6 ways to lead while under submission to someone else.

1. Recognize who the leader is.
2. Be a good steward over the vision.
3. Be a positive example.
4. Be willing to get your hands dirty.
5. Be the voice of reason.
6. Keep the team moving forward.
